Fako-dîgê Fêqê (/ˈfako/ /ˈdɪgɘ/ [selfish] [flesh]) is a subtropical Town located in the Nonaba Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Fako-dîgê Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Fako-dîgê Fêqê was founded by Grîj Èbrêgeg̈, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Fako-dîgê Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 23°C (73°F). Fako-dîgê Fêqê receives an average of 69 cm/y (27 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Fako-dîgê Fêqê covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 9302 m (-12431 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Fako-dîgê Fêqê was founded durring the early 12th century in fall of the year 1103, by Grîj Èbrêgeg̈. The establishment of Fako-dîgê Fêqê was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Grîj Èbrêgeg̈ electing to pay people to resettle in Fako-dîgê Fêqê.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fako-dîgê Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê is buildings are arranged within a network of premissive paverstone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The town's timber-based walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê is a bustling hive of activity. Everyone moves at nothing short of a jog, each convocation is a mile a minute, and there’s dedicated lanes for riding through town in the center of each street. The locals all appear to be not merely occupied, but in a true hurry for everything from drinking a pint of ale to their daily work.
Civic Infrastructure
Fako-dîgê Fêqê has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Fako-dîgê Fêqê. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Fako-dîgê Fêqê's parks.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Fako-dîgê Fêqê.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Fako-dîgê Fêqê's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Fako-dîgê Fêqê's natural decorations nor waterways.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Fako-dîgê Fêqê's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.
In Fako-dîgê Fêqê the milk never sours.
The Bonewrought Willow near Fako-dîgê Fêqê are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Fako-dîgê Fêqê's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves performance art to channel Truename Magic energies of tier 3 via mimery.

Consequently, its residents speak many languages at a functional level.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Fako-dîgê Fêqê was attacked by members of a peasant revolt. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Fako-dîgê Fêqê lost 276 people, 307 livestock, and 57 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 125, when members of Fako-dîgê Fêqê's militia enacted an operation to capture a particular ruin intact. The operation was complicated by at least some of the intelligence related to the operation was incorrect. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in defeat for Fako-dîgê Fêqê's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Fako-dîgê Fêqê's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
